Anna Mae Allen-Blackshaw

On August 6, 1943 the sun rose on Anna-Mae Blackshaw (Allen). She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the union of Luther and Margie Allen, who proceeded her in death. She was the youngest of three children, brothers Will and William, proceeded her in death as well. Anna-Mae who was well known and greatly admired for her sense of style was baptized at an early age. She received her education in The Cleveland Public School Systems where she later met her husband William (Billy) Blackshaw Sr .To this union three sons were born, William Jr., Vincent (deceased) and Lamar Blackshaw (deceased). A very special nephew Michael Blackshaw (deceased). Anna-Mae was an excellent Wife, Mother, Granny, Sister and friend, she enjoyed taking care of her family and traveling around the city to watch her husband Billy play on live jazz sets. You could always count on Anna-Mae for a kind word and a warm smile. Anna-Mae was called home on December 21, 2018, She leaves to mourn her precious memories Husband, William (Billy) Blackshaw Sr. Son William Blackshaw Jr (Kim), grandson William Blackshaw III, Special Nephew Kenneth Blackshaw, Sister, Lady Janyte Renshaw- Malin (John) of California. Sister-In-laws, Kathryn Jennings and Myra Blackshaw, A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins ,Family and Friends.
