Ammer T. Hanna was born Feb. 17, 1937, to the union of Russell and Katie Hannah in Louisville, Miss. To this union 10 children were born. Ammer was saved, she accepted Christ at an early age attending Rock Port United Methodist Church in Chocktaw County Mississippi. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio and met the love of her life, Louis Smith and married him. One child was born, Joyce, her loving and devoted daughter. They moved to New York City. She worked in the Garment District. Later she moved back to Cleveland, where she was a house wife. Ammer loved gardening and was an excellent and proficient seamstress and superior cook. Her husband became ill; she took care of him until he went home to be with the Lord in 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce; sister, Mamie (James) Herron all of Cleveland, Ohio; as well as many-many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, they were all her children. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 29, 2014. May she rest in peace, she was tired. She was a wonderful Christian woman, always, always giving and willing to help anyone. We will miss her greatly; we love her so...so...very much. Our tender loving Flower has been picked from our Garden of Love. We loved her, but God loved her more...God Bless You all in Jesus Christ, Amen. SERVICES SAT.
