On Monday, Jan 18th, 2021, Alfred Lusane, loving husband, father, and grandfather departed at the age 63.
Alfred was born May 1, 1957 in Montgomery, Alabama to Authur and Alice Lusane. He graduated from receiving his diploma from Central High, High School in Haynesville, Alabama in 1976. He also enlisted into the military in 1976 and served for 5 years. He started his career at Consolidated Metal Service in June of 1984. He later married his sweetheart, Inita Bryant on Apr 21, 1992 in Montgomery, Alabama (while residing in Cleveland, Ohio). Together, they raised their only daughter, Teona Lusane and helped with their grandson, Stephen Lusane.
Alfred was a compassionate hard-working gentleman. He was family oriented and committed himself to family, friends, and his career at Consolidated Metal service for over 36 years. He was a good husband, great father, and an awesome grandfather. He charmed anyone he encountered and was well known as the life of the party—He had a great sense of humor and was usually spot-on with comical oblique remarks for his friends and family. He was an avid blues lover, a traveler, and had a love for junk food— mainly cakes (preferably lemon), pies, and cookies. His hobbies included: WATCHING WESTERNS, playing pool, participating in football pool, watching football, enjoying his family, friends, and hanging out with his favorite guy—his only grandson, Stephen. He’s known for his kindness and compassionate spirit— to know him is to love him.
Alfred was preceded in death by his father, Authur Lusane Sr, mother, Alice Lusane, and his siblings, Debra (Chris) Hill, Rebecca Garret, Viola Lusane, Inell Williams, Susie Aaron, Chaney Carr, Robert Carr, Arthur Lusane Jr, Elmo Lusane Sr, Otis Daniel, William Carr, and Willie Lusane.
He leaves to cherish his legacy: his wife, Inita Bryant-Lusane, daughter, Teona Lusane, his siblings, Margaret (Hezekiah) Rush, Walter (Mary) Lusane, Sallie (Owen) Russel, Edward (Geraldine) Lusane, Bernice Milton, Ella Ruth McCall, and Elzie Lusane. his nieces, Diane, Shana, Vivian, Audrey, Jessica (Nyla), Alicia, Eleisha, Dakeita, Alana, Jazzmin, Keiyuna, Jennifer, his nephews, D’Angelo, Rayshan, Joey, Mike, Kevin, Albert, Le’Keyto, Frizzel, one grandson, Stephen Lusane, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
