Alberto Sanchez

March 27, 1950 — February 11, 2021

Alberto Sanchez was born March 27th, 1950, to parents of Julio Sanchez Maldonado and Ramoma Pena Plaza, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. As one of the oldest in the family, Alberto sacrificed education to help his mother care for his younger siblings. His brothers and sisters loved Alberto for his willingness to do for others.

Later in life, Alberto spent most of his time in Pennsylvania where the majority of his children lived. He is served by his 9 loving children, Nancy, Peggy, Jacklyn, Denise, Nelson, Edwin, Wilbert, Michael, Angel, and Luis. That he helped raise with our mother Denise Abreu. One thing for sure that everyone could agree on about Alberto, was that he loved his family and would do anything to protect them.

Alberto was known as a carpenter and also worked in construction for over 30 years. He was a hard worker and enjoyed making a difference at work. As one of the oldest siblings, Alberto was taught how to clean, cook, and care for his younger siblings. He enjoyed cooking most of all. His Puerto Rican entrée were like no other. He was most remembered for his Guanimos con bacalao. We will all remember that amazing smell coming from his kitchen.

Alberto did his best and made a major impact in the lives of everyone around him. He will be missed dearly and will forever live in our memories. May you rest In Peace Pa.
