Albert G. Moody was born on August 29, 1937, in Vicksburg, Mississippi to the late Albert Sr and Irene Moody.
He accepted Christ at an early age attending Mt. Heroden Baptist Church where he was later baptized. He relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1949 joining his sisters. He attended John Adams High School from which he graduated in 1955. Albert joined Corinthian Baptist Church he was an active member of the Men's Choir.
Albert was employed at Cleveland Illuminating Company for over 30 years in the accounting department until retirement. After a short retirement he was employed with Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority until retiring for good.
Albert enjoyed fashion, operas, plays and life's finer things too which he exposed his nieces to. Albert had a very giving heart he was kind to everyone he met. His love for his family was immeasurable. He enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending family time. There was a special kind of love for his fur baby and companion Sheba.
Albert's sunset on June 29th, 2021, he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his 4 sisters, Marguerite Johnson, Mabel Ramsey, Iris Frazier and Loraine Deal Reed.
Albert leaves to cherish his memory a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
