Aamir F. Beasley

March 8, 1984 — February 19, 2021

Aamir Faheem Beasley was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 8, 1984. First born to the union of Orteca and Shahidah Beasley and also bonded with his inseparable, one and only, sister Aqela Beasley. Raised as a Muslim, then upon entering into adulthood, made the decision to remain as one. Allah Akbar.

Aamir was well loved by many people and he returned a lot of warm hearted love as well. He was affectionately recognized by many names: “Mir, Dad, Daddy, Cuzzo, Big Bro, and Monster (because he was huge “lol”)”.

He leaves behind his beautiful loving family. Aamir’s children were his pride and joy. He frequently mentioned he wanted a big family, lots of children so his legacy could live on in abundance. Aamir possessed determination, some would even say stubborn- ness (lol), charisma and love for people. He continually demonstrated a sincere willingness to help others, an unconditional love for his children and their mothers, as well as his family and friends. Aamir was gifted with both creative and performing arts skills. This helped him write intense poetry, passionate music and remarkable freestyle raps. He played the flute and piano which were his favorites. Aamir took pride in being well versed and knowledgeable in Islamic studies, reading, and speaking Arabic. Aamir was very well respected and will be greatly missed by each and everyone of us.

Aamir will be joining those that preceded him in death; his son Jabril, his grandparents Jean and Harold Bowers, Jesse Beasley, Amin and Mary Muhammad, his Auntie Rochelle Elder and his nephew Tedro Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, his sister, Marcie and their first born son, Aamir Jr., sister Naomi, Clarissa and their daughter Amiyah, Michelle and their son Jihad, twin brothers Elijah and Ahmad, Derricha and their daughter Ariyah. Also a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
