Linda Sue Nowling

Linda Sue Nowling was born on June 28, 1953 in San Francisco, California to the Late George Robert Nowling Jr and Grace Anne Nowling. Linda gained her heavenly wings peacefully at home on Monday, September 5, 2022.

After coming from Charleston, West Virginia Linda participated with the East Cleveland Chiefs as an Original Cheerleader and Coach. Linda then graduated from John Hay High School in 1972 where she then attended Dyke College, where she received her Associates Degree in Business.

Linda was employed by the Cuyahoga Library as a librarian. Linda was a diehard Browns fan. She was well loved by so many people, if you had a problem I needed to talk, she had an ear to listen.

Linda leaves to mourn her son, Duane; daughter, Eleasha Anne; mother, Grace Anne Nowling (aka, Nan-Nan); brother, Gary Nowling (Adrienne); six grandchildren, Duane, D'Kano, Raymond Jr, Ray'Iona, Ray'Niya, and Dior; two great grandsons, Jeremi, and Bryson; nephews she loved as her own, Lamarcus, Michael, Gerrell, Duronte, and Dontrell; as well as a host of great nieces, great nephews, and three close friends she loved dearly, Omie Suggs, Cassandra Parks, and Sharyon Pope - Corrigan.
