Lorn M. Perkins

Lorn Marious Perkins, departed this life on the 26th day of February in the year of our Lord 2024, at the age of forty-seven. Born unto this world on the 30th day of July in the year 1976, in the city of Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son to the late William Marvin Perkins and Cherryl June (Cookie) Perkins. A beloved sibling, he walked through life with kindness, humor, and a heart full of compassion for all God's creatures.

Emulating his father's path, Lorn dedicated himself to the noble profession of trucking, traversing the highways of our nation for a quarter of a century, ensuring the delivery of vital goods to those in need, a task he performed with unwavering diligence, particularly during times of widespread hardship.

Lorn leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his sisters Carla Bates, with her spouse Carl, and Barbara Debramaletta-Smith; his brothers Craig M. Perkins, with his spouse Clarissa, Craig C. Perkins, with his spouse Margo, and Keith Perkins with his spouse Melah; and his adored nephew Michael Bailey. He now joins in Heaven his brothers Kerry Lawrence Perkins and Kevin Robert Perkins, and his grandmother Savannah Edwards, who preceded him in passing.

His life was a testament to his strong work ethic, as evidenced by his numerous safety awards and a flawless record of service. When not behind the wheel, Lorn found solace in the company of his dear friend Connie, the innocence of animated storytelling, and the warm embrace of familial gatherings.

We, his family and friends, lay to rest Lorn Marious Perkins, a gentle soul and a man of faith, trusting that he has found peace in the arms of the Almighty. May he rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon him. Amen.
